ACT- Aircraft Condition Tracking

Identifying & tracking scratches, dents, buckles and repairs doesn't have to be a compliance hassle. The ReadyFlight ACT program provides an intuitive graphical interface with unparalleled capability to track these along with all associated documentation whether technical data, digital photos, 3D scans or about anything else. All this information at your fingertips on a mobility enabled platform that works just as well on the ramp and hangar floor as it does in the Maintenance Control office.

Answers When You Need Them

As a crew preflights an aircraft at the gate they note a dent. What follows is the call to Maintenance Control to determine if the dent is new or existing and the basis for continued operation. With ACT, Maintenance Control pulls up the tail specific aircraft graphic with all relevant data including photographs, tech data and the deferral basis. Alternatively, line maintenance, or flight crews (if authorized), can use a tablet right on the ramp to access all the same data.

Designed for the Real World

The following are a few examples of that attention to detail for use in the real world

  • ACT not only tracks SRM References associated with the defect or repair, but includes the SRM revision number and date. In most implementations the SRM is actively linked to the specific entry which permits direct access of the tech data
  • If the defect or repair is on a rotable component such as a control surface or door, ACT tracks the Part Number and Serial Number of the component as well as the aircraft to which it is currently attached. When the part moves, so does all of the associated data

NOT JUST SCRATCH AND DENT BUT A WHOLE LOT MORE

ACT is the perfect repository for other ‘tail specific information’ such as:

Dent/Surface Defects

  • Identified - Pending Analysis
  • Verified Within SRM Limits
  • Beyond SRM but authorization received
  • Beyond SRM but continued ops with compliance to conditions
  • Beyond Limits - awaiting repair

Repairs and Corrosion

  • Major - No ICA actions & With ICA actions
  • Minor - No ICA actions & With ICA actions
  • Pending additional data
  • Pending Classification
  • Classified as Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3

Other Data

  • Placards as required for Type, by Modifications or Optional
  • LOPA - Layout of Passenger Accommodations
  • Safety Equipment - Standard Equipment
  • Safety Equipment - Mission Specific
  • Livery and Cockpit Layout Photos
  • Aircraft Qualifications such as ETOPS, LLM, Extended Over Water, Polar Ops, etc.

Fast Setup and Implementation

ACT is designed to operate as a standalone, web delivered application. No servers or software integration required. This permits it to be brought online quickly at virtually any carrier irrespective of size. Integration with a major Maintenance IT system offering is coming in 2016.

COMING IN EARLY 2016 – AN ‘END TO END’ SOLUTION FOR IDENTIFICATION, DOCUMENTATION AND TRACKING USING ACT and 8tree TECHNOLOGY.

The 8tree / ACT end to end solution streamlines data collection and reporting by reducing complexity and eliminating paper. No more paper Dent Logs indicating the damage history of the aircraft. Centralized recording of major repair history available continuously, not just at lease return.
